Brooke Taylor
Brooke started in radio at the age of 6 when she recorded her first commercial at KKAZ/KUUY where her Mother worked. Raised with radio, Brooke grew very fond of all the in's and out's of how everything worked. Having her Mom in radio, Brooke tried TV where she climbed from receptionist, to traffic assistant, to local and national sales assistant. In 1999, Brooke started filling in at K-MUS radio station while her Mom, (the legendary Pam Middleton) fought a battle with cancer. Later that year after losing her Mother, Brooke decided to take some time off to regroup her family. Being newly married, a new child, and raising her brother Michael would now become her full time job. In 2003 Brooke broke back into radio at KRRR/KRAE as Promotions Director. Brooke left for a short period of time, and returned in 2006 to get a kick-start to the newest baby KZDR. Brooke left shortly afterwards to go work with her mentor Larry Proietti who had an opportunity in ownership. “Working for Larry Proietti has been the best thing in my career”, Brooke says. “When asked if I would join him in Kimball, Nebraska I jumped at the opportunity to work for the BEST.” Now taking the responsibility of Promotions Director, Business Manager and Sales she can now learn almost every aspect of the radio business. With the best talent beside her, there is nowhere to go but up.
Brooke was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming graduating from Cheyenne East High School, and attending L.C.C.C. for Marketing. She has been happily married to her husband James for 11 years, and is currently rasing her two boys, Taran and Gage. She is very proud of her family, and that she can say that she was a helping hand in rasing her brother Michael. Brooke is currently representing the great state of Wyoming as Mrs. Southeastern Wyoming America for 2007.
Brooke enjoys spending time with her family and friends, pageants, and traveling.
